  • was there supposed to be a bundle set for the lego speed champions? interested in grabbing heaps but not sure if its worth waiting for them

    • Only bundle set I've seen is the upcoming F1 bundle with all speed champion sized team cars.

This one looks a bit crap tbh. The Ferrari F40 and Countach are awesome though.

    • What do you expect? this is just an entry-level lego RRP is like $35, not $350 :)

That's not OPs point, he's comparing to other Speed Champion kits, not $300+ ones

I really liked the look of this. Until I realised it's ALL STICKERS. Probably looks crap in real life.

  • In my opinion, the best ones are skyline, gtr, countach, 007 aston martin and g63, however YMMV

This one is hella ugly, and who gives a toss about Nascar.

There's a full set of 10 F1 cars coming soon. Not very pleased with that one (or indiviual F1 sets) either.

Bring on more supercars, or at least iconic cars.

    • My thoughts exactly. The supra is so amazing… I'm still in love with it.

honestly wished they had brought out some Aussie cars. You know like there Mitsubishi magna, Holden Captiva, Nissan Pintara, Ford Au Falcon.

    • THIS is a brilliant idea!

    • Lego is a global company and there would be extremely limited appeal and profitability worldwide for those kinds of Lego sets given that none of the cars you've listed sold outside of Australia and even within Australia they have a pretty niche following nowadays or pretty much none to speak of (e.g. Holden Captiva lol). It's like Lego releasing a Trabant set globally when no one outside of the former East Germany has ever seen one in-person.

      • Is they release a 2 pack set like a HSV vs FPV. i am pretty sure it would do very well here. They're also trying to crack the Chinese community with alot more CNY sets being released every year.

    • Hillman hunter?

  • Even though they are stickers, my 6 yo son enjoyed building it

  • +1

Please note, can only drive counter-clockwise

  • OOS?

  • Does it come with a Holden badge?
