I know this bag isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, especially given the premium price tag, but the Bellroy Transit Workpack 20L rarely goes on sale, and I thought I’d share this deal for anyone who’s been eyeing it.

Common Issue and Fix: Strap Slippage 🎒
I know a common complaint about this bag is the strap slippage. After digging around, I found a few solutions:
* Webbing keepers: You can buy these separately to keep the straps secure. Reddit Link
* Some users say Bellroy’s support team is great—reach out to them if you encounter the issue, and they might even send you webbing keepers for free! Disclaimer I found out about these in the reddit posts so you might need to find out more about this.

    Thumb up to Rushfaster, recently ordered a bag that is difficult to get in OZ, and seldomly goes on sale, they have them but for about 20% more compared to overseas stocks. I was lucky that they had 1-2 in the outlet section of their website w like 40% off so ended up paying like 20% below market. The delivery and process was smooth, auspost tracking, emails w every update, took just a few days (xmas season) Overall recommended. Also received a coupon for

    Don't think this colour is for me, but good find and price.

    Just FYI re Bellroy customer service - I bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max case on clearance from DJs, which had a cutout for the action button. This was a common issue, since many manufacturers left a cutout there for the presumed silent switch, but when the phone launched with the action button, the cutout was then quite inconvenient, since the button was difficult to hit through the cutout. Several Reddit posts suggested reaching out to customer service.

    They promptly sent me a brand new case with an action button bumper button, no questions asked (just had to send a receipt of my purchase).

    For a bag of this price with such known issue is pretty poor value.

      Same, no issues with the straps for me. I load mine up with laptop, headphones, mouse, full 500ml water bottle in side pocket, other sundries. I've had no slippage issues, I tried to pull the bag down to make it slip after reading the negative comments, but it won't budge. I can only release the straps by pulling up on the tabs the straps loop around, and when I do this, it's silky smooth, which I like.

      There's other complaints online about the zips snagging, but I can't see how this is possible with the one I've got. There's a ribbing under the fabric near the zip for the laptop compartment, and this pulls the fabric down and in with a bit of weight/tension from the internal ribbing. No snagging issues there for me, even when I tried.

      Don't believe all the negative reviews you read online.

      Note: I have the "previous" version (which this deal is for), not the updated "second edition".
