Me too, she was out of my league.

  • I guess if you are happy to pay a 200% premium using Viator……..

    • I've noticed some tours are substantially more expensive than direct via the tour provider but if the provider is small and doesn't have a website, what's the alternative? Care to share any tips?

    • What can you do instead?

Find the same tour on another site. You only book with Viator if they actually do offer the best price or are the only ones that offer it.

I booked 2 tours in Kyoto last night thinking I wanted to use the 20% cashback, but Klook had one of those tours for 25% cheaper. The other tour both Klook and Viator had the same price, so I booked with the Viator cashback.

make contact with the tour provider and book direct - I've seen 500% increases via Viator - even for tours/activities that have their own website……

      • Just land there and ask in your hotel. It is always way cheaper than even direct tours.

  • Not with ShopBack but other cashback services I’ve had cashback with Viator denied and they’re the ones denying it not the middlemen, scummy company.

    • yea mine was also rejected by Viator rather. shopback also said "Cashback will be credited only for eligible and completed travel" but no where did Viator mention what's eligible
