did anyone know if on air wifi at emirates, is it free or you have to pay ? thanks

no, it is billed according to data utilized per sector. So if you got 20 mb, you need to use it in the sector you are flying, it is not carried over to another flight.

Uh, i flew on their A380 early last year in economy class and wifi was free

    It's not free. I fly with Emirates in business on the A380 all the time. They do have Wi-fi but as stated previously, you pay for a package when you try and log in with your device. Same goes for economy.
