    A friend is visiting from US, and we took them grocery shopping and their kid went absolutely crazy when she saw these. Apparently they were in an episode of Bluey, and the kid didn’t know they were real

    The family ended up Buying 10 sets of them for gifts

    Am I going insane or do the current gen connectors just don’t click together as good as they used to, say 30 years ago? Bought a batch to show my 5 year old and they fell apart really easily when going to pick up the model

      Not sure about that, but when I was growing up. Anyone who had more than 20 at primary school was considered to be a family of peak richness.

      Or was that just me and my pov school 😂

          I agree re quality. Having 10 of those pens back in primary school was nothing compared to some others who had enough to connect them from end to end.

        I came here to write a similar comment.

        We could only afford one set of these in primary school, so I had the skinny texta ones and my sister had a set of these connector pens. When she left primary school and those were handed to me I was very happy! It was only a small set, and some of the tips were blunted/dried, but it was cool to finally have my own a set of these.

    Here's the price per pen for each pack:

        More colours are useful for some and not for others. So, it comes down to personal preference and need.

        Probably not, I found the outside colours are different but the insides are the same for a lot of them. Especially the pastel and regular, the only difference is the outer plastic on most simular colours.
