Thanks! Bought it instore today.. plus mandatory hotdog and drink for a total of $49.98
Thank you, was keen to know if the discount translated in store as well. $3 worth it to avoid the queues and parking.
$0.23 per each
so correct me if I am wrong but these are just the standard size 1 nappies huggies that they are selling?
It's not actually the "ultimates"
I bought them last time assuming it was huggies top tier ultimate ones.
Just not sure how Costco gets away with labelling them as "Ultimates"
I may be wrong but Huggies don't actually make an Ultimate version in the size 1
First week of being a dad here:
I know it depends on the baby but typically how many boxes at each stage would I need?
At the moment going through about 6-10 nappies or so a day in the first week. I think as they grow older they need less?
I just found some website, she should reach the 5kg written on the size 1 pack within 2 months.
So let's say 8 nappies a day * 7 days a week * 4 weeks a month * 2 months = 448 nappies so 2 boxes at each stage?
9 weeks of being a mom here. Congrats dad!
We are using less as she gets older. At few weeks old we are changing her every time we feed. Now we skip the nappy change at night time to reduce stimulation(and she has not been pooing during the night, 8pm till 9am).
We bought 100s of the huggies (ultimate?) size 1 from baby expo on special and regretted it. They were not a good fit and leaks often. Ended up using the Aldi ones, $0.17 per nappy i think? Still have 100s of huggies size 2 to go lol. At 9 weeks she’s still under 5kg, using size 1.
I would say your calculation is okay. Just not sure about committing to the nappy if you haven’t tried it before.
Growth spurts vary obviously for each baby but I noticed they progress from sizes 1-3 they quickly then it feels like they are in sizes 4 and 5 for ages
Congrats, new dad here 6 month old…
Avoid trying to bulk buy nappies, there is such varied experiences between babies and nappy products, especially during the newborn stage.
As others have mentioned, your babies size and preference for nappies will vary, and no matter what you try to "save" by buying in bulk, you will lose in wasted nappies. Buy what you need, as you need it.
Size 4+ can be bulk purchased as you'll know what works best for you and your baby, plus they sit in that size longer.
Thank you all for your responses. 1 box at a time :)
In store $47.99
