    I have been trying to find the time to give this a go. Purchased Vegas Pro from Humble Bundle years a go but always found it difficult to learn. I've seen the Davinci Resolve speed editor console. Around $500 and you get a full version of the software with it…..very tempting.

    Agree but DaVinci did seem to have limits. Certain functions which result of a pop-up saying "hey you need to upgrade". Still definitely much better but will the limits increase?

      Free version limited to 1080p if wanting higher then you need to upgrade, getting the speed editor like Noobist45 suggested is the best way

    Is it a problem that the Noise Reduction 2.0 plugin hasn’t changed for 25 years?

  Used to used HitFilm from a cheap Humble offer years ago…until they got bought out, got rid of the original creative team, moved to a subscription model, linked all tutorials to use assets of their parent company's products to buy. Great tool for compositing and editing otherwise. Haven't seen a new tutorial for 2 years now…
