I've got low stock at my local. Kmart tends to be terrible with their stock levels though, says one thing and you get there and they don't have it.

100% what's going on for the Eastland and Burwood stock levels. I was at Eastland this afternoon and checked out the lego in Big W and Myer but not Kmart. Looked like a bomb had hit Big W.
Marion says in stock - phoned none, Kurrulta Pk says lo stock - phoned none. Missed out
Went into Collanades, said 7 on system had none in store
Blame it on shop lifters.
Nah, the staff seem clueless. Called Noarlunga, the employee said, we've got 10 they won't sell out, I ask her to put one on hold, she puts me on hold, comes back asking for my details saying it'll be at the service desk, then someone calls me 10 minutes later telling me the employee made an error and they don't have any stock.
Noarlunga/Colonnades had 10.
Marion had 7.
Kuralta Park had 4.Nope. Shelves stripped bare. I don't think they've been shoplifted. And, the employees don't seem like the type to buy them all up and flog them on eBay, they're probably hidden out the back somewhere and they just can't be stuffed looking for them.
@Graffin: I went into all 3 of those stores and yes shelves absolutely empty, stock says in stock and staff happy to say not on shelf so they’re gone. Disappointing that they don’t then fix their systems to reflect the accurate stock.
Kmart Firle still had the ticket on shelf with clearance pricing.@Darkjimick: Yeah, I went into all 3 stores as well, within half an hour of the deal being posted (I live near Marion, so all 3 stores are within 10 minutes of me), so freakin' disorganised. Kurralta Park would be the worst. No one answered the phone… 20 minutes later, still ringing. Quicker to drive there.
The LEGO areas were a mess, and when I got there, I could tell others were looking for the same thing, looking behind boxes, underneath shelves (most of which were empty). It's quite ironic that when you call them the recording says their online website stock is updated regularly… what a joke.
Now, all I see are eBay scum selling them for $99+.
I'm fine with people buy 1 or 2 for themselves and family, but sheesh, I really hate those that buy up all they can to flog off on eBay for a profit.
Oh well. I guess it's the only botanicals set I won't be getting. I'll just tell myself I didn't really need it. It looks ugly. Can only be used at Christmas time. Now I feel better!
@Graffin: How funny, I also live near Marion, about a 10 minute walk from the Westfield. I saw the same behaviour as well and have also seem them pop up on eBay and marketplace. Very disappointing.

Nah it was double the price on boxing day. They also had the christmas tree listed for $39. I put an order in for 2 and it got cancelled =(

Stock at Moonee Ponds is never right I swear, I went in there before looking for something, girl said their stock count was showing 70 and that there was definitely none, and that she had never even seen them before, couldn't call the store either as they neverrrrrr pick up their phone at all.

Picked one up at Kmart Casuarina (Darwin), they had another one there if by odd chance any locals are reading this. It's on one of those temporary carts they often use before stacking the shelves, near the toy aisle.

Checked Robina, it said “low stock” couldn’t find it. Assumed lost stock but I didn’t search extensively beyond the Lego section.

Swear this should be marked expired. Showing in stock in Gungahlin and Tuggeranong ACT. But none when I checked. It’s a hot mess in Kmart after what must have been their Boxing Day sales.
