Ozbargain meet-up at Carindale!
I have been meaning to try out the new banh mi place in the revamped food court.
Don't.
$15.73 for a crispy pork bahn mi. They charge extra for chilli, wtf? And it's more like a sirracha sauce not actually fresh chilli.
Far better bahn mi around.
Edit because I'm still salty about it. Not much meat, day old bread, just an average bahn mi similar to roll'd one but not as good.

Assumed with the new revamp of the food court Westfield would have tried to source better restaurants
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Look it's worth trying so you can compare it against other stores, but far better value elsewhere.
Bahn mi and burger is pretty good on nudgee road or the bakery at dfo near woolies, their food is always top notch.
@Slinky0111: I thought the ones at mt gravatt bakehouse were surprisingly OKAY for not having to do a 40-60 min round trip to darra /inala
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Will check it out sometime. Thanks for the heads up. If any bakery offers a bahn mi it's my go to. Just something about it makes it irresistible and not as dirty as a meat pie.
