Bosgame Mini PC P3 TDP Change?

In a Bosgame P3 with 6900HX

how far down can I push the TDP to?
can i undervolt it too?

Or does its bios settings prevent me from changing anything?
thank you

  • Officially the TDP range is 35W-54W. You may be able to push it lower through the BIOS or with Ryzen Master.

Any particular reason it needs to go lower? Heat?

    • yes I'd like to know if the bios of the bosgame lets me change tdp and or undervolt

reason, to save on energy bills. because its a 24/7 device

  • Only real way to know is to check the bios. That said, even running at 54w that's very low power consumption. In reality, it wont use anywhere near that amount unless it's being pushed to the limit. Just to give you a ballpark idea a computer using 200watts would cost around 5cents per hour to run. If you're just web browsing etc I suspect your cpu would only draw 15 to 20 watts. Based on that assumption it would cost about 0.5 cents per hour to run. Reducing the tdp would make a neglible difference to power draw. If you're truly curious you can buy a power use monitor to see what your system is truly using a d go from there.

    • it'll run Frigate, home assistant, 3x win vms, an openwrt router etc

      i haven't bought it yet

  • For reference, I have a 5600G + ATX Mobo + 16GB RAM + 8 x HDD and that idles at 26W (no RGB, no fans spinning at idle, headless, no case LEDs, etc) …

Point being, general PCs are usually more configurable (from BIOS and Windows) than these "mini" PCs ;)
