Looking to take the boys for casual lunch in Sydney CBD whilst we wait for mom to shop.
Nothing fancy pancy, a $10 Pad See Ew or Pad Thai or Khao Phat will do.
Any recommendation?
It doesn't have to be Thai but budget probably $10-$12 per meal.

That budget is difficult to get a lunch like that outside of Sydney CBD, never mind in it near the shopping areas.
Sea Bay is a cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurant in the CBD but not at the budget you have in mind.

Try one of the Chinatown food court like dixon St or Sussex St.

If you want a succulent Chinese meal you have to go to Fortitude Valley in Brisbane.
