Costco Tyre Warranty with Expired Membership

My Costco membership expires this month and I am not gonna extend it (rarely use it).

But I bought my tyres from Costco. I am worrying if Costco will not honour the warranty, because I am no longer member with Costco.

Any advice on it?

    renew it :)

PS : Without the membership, you will still get the warranty based on the manufacturer but won't get the free rotation service.

I wont renew it. I usually go to local stores to buy groceries nowadays.

I thought the free rotation service is for the lifetime regardless I have active membership or not as long as I bought from Costco……..

      • But what about those buffolo wings

      • Do u find it cheaper at local stores or just easier?

What sort of warranty do you expect with tyres? Any manufacturing defect would have been very obvious!
Its just rubber. Dont worry about warranty…

    • This! Warranty issues would have surfaced by now and anything you think is warranty related will be a long and arduous process

  • How long ago did you buy the tyres?

Old enough not to worry about a warranty for tyres. Keep them inflated properly. Check for uneven wear amd get an alignment/rotation as required. Save your costco fee in case of alignment or puncture.

  • lol how do you claim warranty on tyres? whats wrong with them? LOL

  • Sort of related.. I’ve been doing the Costco GC route to buy things when needed, and a few months ago I bought an electric toothbrush from them. The lady at the register said that if I had a problem with it, I would have to go to the manufacturer and not Costco

      Seems illegal but :shrugs:

      • That’s what I thought

      • Yeah i dony think they allowed to mislead rights under acl

  • I never rotate tyres. Well, I do, but only when the car is moving. Rotating tyres covers up any problem you may have with the vehicle.
