LOL. It's RAMs these days buddy. One for Dad,Mum and 1 each for the 4 kids, all fueled up by the tax payer trough.
;)
I’ve been using the Woolworths brand at $1.70 for 750g. I don’t quite know what the difference though
I get the $2.80 for 1.5kg. Lasts about 2-3wks.
Oh yeah probably got the 1.5kg ones. I just remembered the Woolworths brand was so much cheaper
The difference is the amount you pay. That’s it.
$2.80 for the 1.5kg - fantastic value
Lasts me 4-5 days max as part of a pre-workout meal.
Difference? Couldn’t tell either. (Apart from price)
Same energy/ taste/ calories/ nutrients and - more importantly - no sugar/ additives (like in many other brands)
Do you get any husks in the Woolies brand oats?
I found there's quite a few in the ALDI oats; looking to upgrade
It used to be like $1 for a 900g bag or whatever 😒 I remember buying ten bags at a time in 2013-2015. I guess this is just normal now. How much is a bag from aldi?
closer to $2 for 800 or 900g
Wake up babe, it's time to pay a 170% idiot tax on oats 🥰
coles oats bottom dusty taste.
Was after quick Oats no discount rofl it's the better one than traditional
Just wanted to comment to balance out some of the negativity towards Uncle Toby's in the thread.
Irrespective of price, Uncle Toby's oats taste completely different to home brand oats (mostly because of their different texture). I'm certain these commenters have either never had them side-to-side, never had them at all, or eat oats infrequently enough that they don't recognise the taste well enough. They also have way less husk than any cheaper brand I've tried.
I'm not saying Uncle Toby's are the best oats available or even that their price is justifiable for most, but they are different.
Sincerely, someone who tried Uncle Toby's oats when the home brand was out of stock and reluctantly continues to pay the premium for them.
Crikey, even the 'on special' the price of rolled oats these days is getting ridiculous.
