Seems to be an ATL according to camels and it's easier to get into than the base Gloomhaven game. This is standalone and does not require the base game to play.

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is aimed at a more casual audience to get people into the gameplay more quickly. All of the hard-to-organize cardboard map tiles have been removed, and instead players will play on the scenario book itself, which features new artwork unique to each scenario.

The last barrier to entry — i.e., learning the game — has also been lowered through a simplified rule set and a five-scenario tutorial that will ease new players into the experience.

      Been waiting a long time for this to drop in price. Glad to see the camels ping come through. Ended up getting Buttons and Bugs in the meantime. I haven't played that yet but Jaws will move ahead/above in the pile of shame.

        Me too. I've got notes on my Amazon wishlist and my own ATL note for this expansion is $59 on 28 December 2021 - it's my own note so probably inaccurate as I don't check prices every day, but it's an indication how long I've been waiting!

        Missed out on it this time, but truth be told I'm glad in this cost of living crisis, as it's just going to go on the shelf of shame and never get played… I also got stuck on Gloomhaven Scenario #60 (Alchemy Lab) - I must have replayed it like 5 times and couldn't beat it so I stopped playing haha…

          Just checked out scenario 60. Hahaha that's a rough one. Did it on the third attempt with 4 players and a white board of the game plan.

          We abused the invisible characters at the door. High mobility dash to the furthest rooms with jumps and invisibility cloaks. Timed loot ability with movements, short rest only (gambled hard with random cards to discard), everyone had boots for the extra movements.

          From memory, we only cleared the hounds and snakes room and made a dash after for the remaining treasures at the same time

        That's not through Amazon and is not fulfilled by them either.
        That deal would go against ozb posting rules
        I wouldn't buy it from that store either it's a brand new store that just launched

          No originally it was Amazon au that sold it . Once they sell out, it goes to the next seller which in this case was kyc. It was a great deal and I actually bought one.

              @Exprise: If you click your "my account" . There is a sub heading in there called "files". If you click that it lets you upload pictures/files.
              Also good idea to cancel the other. I'm glad you managed to get a copy from amazon
