  • funnily enough I've been actively looking for a gaming chair, can anyone vouch for the comfort/durability of these?

    • +9

      Don't get these

    • +4

buy a proper chair not these shitty gimmicks. get a second hand office chair, way better for your body

I have these. They sucks ass. It does the job enough to not not be replaced but the cushioning on the arms are gone after a year . The seat area leather is tearing . The arms get loose easily and need to be rescrewed for every 3 days. I regret not getting the 100$ eBay Korean office chair everyday since I bought this

    • I got one. It is crap.

  • +10

    Don’t go with pu leather.

    • +2

Indeed, it'll be peeling off in a year's use.

Coming soon to a nature strip near you!

These are terrible chairs, have a read of these reviews.

  • The Secretlab evo titan seems to be really popular, is it as good as people say? Seems very expensive but if it is worth it I might just have to suck it up

    • I'm with you, however, from what I've seen people comment its better to just get a good office chair rather than a "gaming" branded done

      • It's better to get a good quality chair regardless of whether it's an office chair or a 'gaming' branded one. A $150 office chair won't necessarily be better than a $150 gaming chair. Buying online will make either option a bit of a crapshoot.

In any case, a number of companies make well-reviewed gaming chairs that stand up over time. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

    • scout the marketplace for a mirra. picked mine up for around 450!

      • Seems pretty small… I was thinking of the Titan to get the XL version as I’m 6’2 largish guy

        • im 6'4, its pretty comfortable.
my ass only feels rough after a few hours, thankfully im upgrading to a standing desk so shouldnt be an issue.

Can't you already see these on the side of the road.

Shout-out to everyone being real and letting new comers know the truth. Love the Oz bargain community

Do your back and butt a favour go get a customisable chair like the ergohuman

    • +1

Came here to say this, bought an ergohuman recently. A massive upgrade from my old "gaming" chair. An Ikea dining chair is better than this. Go for Steelcase, Ergohuman or Desky if HM is too much

  • +1

yeah bargain is one thing but we need to be able to spot a landfill

  • +1

These are crap, don’t waste your money

  • Not the greatest in terms of quality the memory foam will compress and sag within a year of continuous use. I developed back and glute issues after prolonged use. Replaced this chair with Steelcase Leap and I am happy.

  • +3

This is just a POS! 180kg my arse!
Coupon to reduce it to normal price is misleading

  • +3

Do not buy this brand, their chairs are crap, terrible materials with flex and creak. 180kg lmao. This is the furniture the wreckers from Breaking Bad was talking about, turning the RV into patio furniture overseas

  • Not always free delivery either, would get slugged with $20 more to send to a Queensland address.

  • These are BIFL…. Buy it for landfill.

Get something from marketplace or a second hand office furniture reseller. Steelcase/Haworth/ergohuman/Herman Miller etc.

  • Any decent alternatives?

  • Title requires updating, most are showing $19 delivery to Perth. Something that is becoming increasingly common, WA getting F'd with delivery charges.

  • I also bought an Alfordson (not this chair but an office chair with vibration to help my back) - would never buy them again. I'm not a gamer and thought it'd be a good buy but very uncomfortable. Had to cut out the vibration units because it's difficult to sit on and one of the legs wasn't pre-drilled and I ended up falling off it. Would never buy this brand again. Hopefully I find a bargain chair soon that supports the upper back.
