    I couldn’t finish 7 at all. I got bogged down after hours of play and just had no motivation to finish it. Would you say infinite wealth is better/different? Or more of the same?

      Watching the story in game story recap might help you. But it's more of the same. However with each game it gets wackier and wackier. Example: in the earlier games if you stayed on the main story path it's pure crime drama, you'd never know how silly it can get. Now you're literally fighting robots on the street. Still highly enjoyable as a long time fan it's just the doors are blown wide open for anything and everything to happen.

  Great game, kiryu carries the entire back half cause once ichibans main reason for being there is sorted, his half of the back end of the game is so boring.
