  • anyone has any feedback of how effective this mower is, especially if used as a mulch mower?

Bunnings selling the same mower with 2x 8.0ah and charger for $699 with extra bonus redemption.
    Which one is better?

    • All Biturbo bosch tools have more grunt than standard 18V. Batteries also die faster as well, so the more expensive one is "better".

The question for me in which is better, 36V Ryobi or that? or Makita or some other brand? I know the 36V Ryobi performs relatively well on a standard small lawn. But have no idea about these others.

Just FYI they're the same mower, this deal is also Biturbo and 36V. The $699 one at Bunnings is just more expensive as it comes with 2x 8ah batteries included - also a nicer redemption deal.

  • Bought this exact deal during black Friday, also purchased the Hedge Trimmer on sale so I was able to get 2x 8ah battery redemptions. Has been great so far.

  • yea this mower was on sale for around $500 a few weeks ago with 2x batteries.. so

    • Did that have a redemption?

      • Yea it had 2x batteries via redemption I'm pretty sure, instead of only 1.. I was about to get it but the deal end3d

  • hmm so redemption comes with 1 battery but requires two? and the second one costs $225…

    • Yeah, if you don't already have any batteries the $699 Bunnings deal with 2 batteries plus the Reciprocating saw via redemption would be a better buy

The cutting height options on this mower are lacking.
    6 levels from 30mm to 70mm.

  • Wow this is cheap, I paid around $1000 on release with 2x 8ah and a blower on Bunnings special order.

I use it to mow around 100m2 of Kikuyu grass, has no issues smashing through it. Uses about 1-2 bars of the 5 bars on each 8ah battery. I cut it about halfway on the height settings.

I I did let part of the lawn get up to over 200mm in height and it still smashed through it, just need to empty the catcher often.

I wouldn't use it on a vacant block or anything like that that required really long run times etc. Petrol mower is always best for that.

Definitely worth this price if you're already in the Bosch professional system.

Steel deck is great, the rest of the unit is fairly plasticky which is to be expected.

There's almost no real reviews or in store stock of this product when I purchased. I suspect it might be on runout/clearance already if it's down to this price so quickly.
