50% Off Paramount+ Standard 1 Year Plan, $48.99 (Current Subscribers Only, $97.99 thereafter) @ Paramount Plus

240

Thanking OP from https://ozb.me/o/3idp?u=wa

I am currently on an annual subscription and I tried to cancel to obtain the discount for 3 months from the link above but received an offer for 50% for the whole year…. so $8.17 per month. Not bad for the whole family (6 members) to enjoy.

Can you share this with OZB family members without restrictions like the ones from Netflix and Disney?

    • +1

      yes can be done

  • +1

    Provide link perhaps or targeted?

  • +1

Is there anything actually worth watching on this

    • -3

      Clue is in the price

    • +1

Google it. Binge is better I'd say but had a few trials of paramount, few good shows. Just get streamio and watch everything.

Otherwise it's surprising people don't just binge a service for a month or two then change to a different service. There's no need to commit to 12 months, no lock ins just come and go.

    • Nothing you can't obtain sailing the seas

      • +1

        Or Stremio

        • +1

          Same same haha

      • How do you get live A-League on the seven seas?

Asking for a "friend….a football friend"

        • Watch free on YouTube with VPN (outside Australia location)

    • Halo
      Star Trek Discovery
      Star Trek New Worlds
      Picard
      South Park
otherwise I havent seen much but I havent looked hard enough.

    • Halfway through The Agency (a US remake of the French series The Bureau) starring Michael Fassbender to be very entertaining.

      • +1

That's the one with Richard Gere.. don't mind it at all.
Probably rate The Day of the Jackal as good or better.

Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King are the usual recommendations.

    • +2

The A-Leagues only stream on P+ so it's worth it at full price for me.

    • +1

Yes, there is and at half price it’s been my best value streaming service. Good mix of new series and some older ones, along with several classic movies. As usual with any of these services, it depends on individual taste (I didn’t get through everything on my list in the past year).

  • Not bad for the whole family (6 members) to enjoy.

Can only be used on 2 devices at one time so the number of household members is a little bit misleading. Could also say that for the "with ads" option for $30.99 per year. The whole family can still enjoy that on one device at a time.

  • What are the good movies on there? Apart from the mission impossible

    • -2

      Nothing

  • +3

Maybe I turned my renewal off too early, didn’t get this offer—just a couple of days left for them to try to entice me back :)

OP, were you already on a half-price annual sub too or had you previously paid the full rate? Just wondering if they only target it to those who hadn’t already taken advantage of the half-price offer.

    • +4

+1 I had cancelled already, so resumed, tried to cancel again, nothing. Shame, as mine expires in 3 days.

    • +1

I didn’t receive the 12 month offer either. Checked emails and my account. So I let my subscription end ( about 2 weeks ago) went and had a look to potentially sign up again ( about a week after it ended) and the offer was there , so I resigned up for the pro price and all my settings we’re kept.

      • Thanks, I’ll check my account after the current sub expires then just in case.

        all my settings we’re kept

That’s good to know, given they threaten everything will be deleted upon expiry.

  • I got this 6 months ago and still haven’t found anything worth watching.

    • Search all the other old threads.

      • It didn’t help, but thanks anyway…

        • Maybe google it

          • @G-rig: Nothing worth watching.

            • +1

@jv: Sounds like you don't need it then.

              • @G-rig: I won’t be renewing. That’s for certain…

                • @jv: Yeah mate can't say there is that much to watch on there. Stan would be alright for a month or two.
Can't complain with Stremio best of everything ha.

  • I have enjoyed Blue Bloods, Seal Team, Fire Country and Reno 911 on Paramount Plus. We watch it quite a lot.

  • Have they had anything for new members recently too?

    • Free 7 day trial and a bit over $60 for the yearly with ads. The ads are about the same frequency as the other services, they usually don't bother me, though occasionally I get annoyed BC they are often repeats.

I need that mean girls ad out of my head!!

  • +1

    It's my favourite.

Just watched Tulsa kings and some South park and a few interesting documentaries. I have 3 others, I'm bedridden for the next few months, very ill, and imho is the best.

But YMMV it depends on your likes.

  • Does this have UEFA champions League in Australia?
    Currently still in US

    • No, in Australia Stan Sport have the rights to that

  • +1

Looking forward to 1923 season 2 which will be out next month

  • i posted this deal a month or so ago amd people said not everyone was offered the deal.

  • Mine just cancelled, no offers. Worth a try. Thanks for posting
