Went to cancel my Paramount Plus subscription on Amazon Prime and there was an offer for a reduction in the fee for 3 months.

$5.50 per month for 3 months (normally $10.99 per month)

Please note: You would need an existing Amazon Prime and Paramount Plus subscription for this to apply.

Hope this is useful

I was needing a documentary recently that they only had in NZ, so got an account on TVNZ, (vpn from aus) and i saw a bunch of the paramount plus shows there.

So if you got a vpn, thats a freebie method i guess ? :)

  • thanks

  • Any good shows?

Very subjective question - here are a few
      The agency
      Lioness
      Mayor of Kingstown
      1883
      Halo
      Dexter prequel

    • +1

Halo, Star Trek Lower Deck, New Dexter, Mission Impossible & Fast/Furious movies - It’s not top notch but worth a time bound cheap few months

      • I thought Halo is getting cancelled?

        • +1

Already cancelled but there are two seasons and having started and enjoyed I will finish.

          Everything finishes at some time…

        • Yes cancelled but the first 2 season are still there to watch

          • @illusion99: Season 1 and 2 felt so different btw.

Season 1 was good as a sci-fi series but not good as a Halo series

Season 2 tried to bring everyone back onto the lore but needed more than 1 season to do so so it ended up being a bit mediocre/incomplete.

I wouldn't even suggest investing time in watching this series. I actually think the series would've been fine with the original season 1 writing.

            • @meong: That’s a bit unfortunate. I enjoyed season one, but sounds like season 2 isn’t worth it, especially given they don’t finish the story.

    • If you're after kids shows, then there is Bubble Guppies and Nihao Kai Lan (which gets a lot of play in this house) besides the more well known kids shows.

  • I had been paying $5 a month for ages for paramount+ on prime channels for some reason, I’m not sure why, but this month it changed to $10.99. This was the perfect fix for now, thanks OP

  • Thanks

The annual, non-Prime, subscription has risen astronomically. In 2023 I paid $89.95 for 15 months, and now a bog-standard 12 months has gone up to $124.99. See you later.

  • This seems targeted? I just canceled and it just let me without an offer

    • I just tried it, and got the offer.
"Your subscription for Paramount+ will continue and you will be charged A$5.50 for 3 months and A$10.99 from Apr 16, 2025."

    • I cancelled when they announced that my price was going up to $10.99 per month. Yesterday was my last day. This offer won't apply for me either.

  • Screenshot link not working?

I had an annual subscription expiring in May, just tried to cancel and it offered me a half price renewal ($49.95/yr).

Does anyone know if Paramount+ is 4K via Prime Video?

  • +1

Why are you cancelling right in the middle of the A League season? Ridiculous

    • +1

absolutely. The A-league is only reason keen to sign up to Paramount.

  • Just cancelled, and it cancelled… no offers. Ooops

    • Lol. Same here

  • Cheers legend, got the offer when I went to cancel. Did it through my browser, not on the TV. I think Paramount actually has a strong lineup of shows, and Prime still lets you account share unlike Netflix and Disney so a major plus.

  • Cheers mate! Claimed the offer.

  • Thanks for posting, this worked for Britbox as well so maybe add that to the title. Britbox came down to 5, paramount 5.50

  • Cool, that worked even without Amazon Prime (I had signed up directly with Paramount+).
