Rockstar Games GTA III and Max Payne $0.99 for Android - Play Store. Normally $3.99 and $4.99

380

Rockstar games are on sale for 99 cents on Play Store.

GTA III and Max Payne both support controllers so you can use your PS3 DualShock3 Controller or XBOX 360 controller and play these games on Android phones and tablets with a USB OTG cable. No root required. No setup or prior knowledge required. All you need is a 2 dollar USB OTG cable that you can get from eBay.

  2. Video of DualShock3 controller being used to play with S3/Note II: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwjBWDhm9xU

If you're rooted, you can pair your DualShock 3 and play wirelessly using the SixAxis Controller app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpix…

Got an S3, Note II or any Android phone that supports USB OTG? I recommend GameKlip: http://buy.thegameklip.com/

Thanks ragflan for all the PS3 / Xbox controller suggestions.

No problem man. I can't get over how awesome mobile gaming is now. My rides on the train to the city were just long and I mostly just read mobile sites or played a little Angry Birds. But now, especially with GameKlip, PS3 controller and Note II, I feel like it's such a short trip. And you can see how genuinely interested a lot of guys are about the setup. This short 2 minute video shows how awesome it all is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwjBWDhm9xU

any idea if you can connect a wii controller?

        • Why am I getting negs for this…?

Zelda, you can use a wiimote wireless ly with an android tablet. There is an emulator app that enables the wiimote to be used as a keyboard, however there is over little in game support apart from the Nintendo emulators available for android. Mapping the wii buttons to the on screen controls is possible but quite bothersome. Google it though if youre interested.

      • You use that on the train?

Yeah but only in the mornings when coming to the city. I read a book on the way home because it's late and I scare easy. :(

      Not really for Android though.

You're better off listing the games discounted for the Play Store (to keep this deal about Play Store discounts)

  • Dammit… Needa multi-core phone more than ever now, if I'm going to play some of these games (and/or deal with ADHD/ADD symptoms!)
