Zelda TOTK Collectors Edition at Harvey Norman for $128
Just picked one up!
Yeah couldn't grab one from that deal due to availability issues. Caved in here since I still don't have the game.
where have u been m8
I'd rather have the standard edition and $60 in my pocket
Okay?
Well different strokes for different folks. Someone else could say I would rather have no game and $128 in the pocket.
I’ve had no game and $128 in my pocket since high school.
Doesn't quite get ya 2. and a pack of smokes anymore tho
That's what I should have said. Open world Zelda lacks the brilliantly tight progression through puzzles the series used to have.
Thats so cool!
Hardly Normal
One of the greatest games of all time
Amen.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of those experiences that, IMO, improved over the original Breath of the Wild.
The narrative alone + the individual more in-depth dungeons is a welcome improvement.
Also the shrines are more interesting and varied (the soundtrack is cooler too) than those in the BotW (didn’t like them much). Those powerups too!
This is one of those games that brought tears in my time schedule. And it was worth it as it brought tears of joy to my heart. (Cheese, I know)
Narrative was much worse than BOTW imo. Wasnt helped by the lack of voice acting and getting the exact same cutscene after every temple boss. Very lazy.
I personally thought the other way around, BOTW was lackluster in terms of story over TOTK
pretty sure it was like 64 bucks or something from eb games a month a go I think.
And it was sold out in 30 minutes or so.
Is this game souls like?
Not really. There is some character progression with extra health and more powerful items but your abilities don't change really, you unlock them via quests but it's early game.
The game is about finishing quests which involve solving puzzles, not building up your character. Defeating enemies often involes using the right strategies, not about being stong enough.
Souls like are fundamentally different - progressing your character is fundamentally tied to how many hours you invest in the game. You wouldn't repeat killing the same 'boss' in TOTK, whereas in souls like games repetition is common. They are basically a skinner box and far more addictive
ok, so like super mario galaxy
Well this game has vehicles, so it’s sort of like Mario Kart.
Best action/adventure game I've played on my 41 years on this planet.
waiting for 50% off that
