I was on my way to Lindsay Fox’s Portsea palace so thought I would get him a gift

  • Other than Shark Tank appearance, what makes these sponges special?

    • +1

      They last aaaaaaaaages

Packaging says to discard them after two weeks; they last about as long as any other dish sponge that I've ever bought ignoring that recommendation.

They’re full of microplastics and disintegrate easily

      • It's crazy they say these are dishwasher safe

    For Diddy party?

Do not wash with hot water :( it became all unhappy after that

    • really? an advertised feature is you can use hot water to make it softer, and even wash it in the dishwasher. I havent had any issues.

      • Temps above 60c can deform the material it's made out of.

Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a synthetic, semi-crystalline, biodegradable polyester with a melting point of about 60 °C and a glass transition temperature of about −60 °C.

Who is hand washing at 60c?

@Ughhh: This convo is about putting them in a dishwasher champ.

    Also in Target NSW stores.

  • In my experience after buying into the hype, I'm back to normal sponges. These seem to disintegrate quickly (in comparison to my expectations where some people say it lasts them a year), and are harder to use quickly in cool water for something minor like washing a single glass.

Having said that I've migrated mine to the bathroom and they're pretty handy as a shower scrub.

    • Exactly my experience. They only last one month. The Coles home brand ones while do not last as long, are more economical.

  • What’s the difference between the daddy and the mommy?

According to the attached picture, Daddy is a FlexTexture Scrubber, and Mommy is a Dual-Sided Scrubber + Sponge
