  • I lost my 95 watt Lenovo USB C charger for my yoga slim. Would the 100 watt charger USB C Lenovo OTA charge at the same speed? I ask this because the 95 watt charger has 4 speeds listed on the output: 5V 3A / 9V 3A / 15V 3A / 20V 4.75A 95W. The 100 watt charger has only 1 output speed: 20V~5A 100W. I assume the 100 watt charger can scale all of these outputs, especially being USB C?

    • Commenting because I'd love if somebody linked to a great resource for understanding all of the compatibilities. I used to understand charging protocols, but their quantity has spiralled out of control

      • Not just this but sometimes compatibility between brands can be an issue as well. I have two 65W USB chargers, one from Lenovo and one from HP. The HP one will not charge my Lenovo laptop at all

        • I discovered that a brand new Lenovo X1 that I was playing with had the same issue, it hated a Dell USBC charger, yet was perfectly happy with the charger plugged into a power bank and the power bank plugged into the laptop.

On the other hand, all of the other devices I tried were fine with the Dell charger, from headphones to a Canon mirrorless camera and everything in between.

        • Yes you can suddenly come across compatibility issues.
I recently bought a Tocki c to c cable having power display meter.

It has worked fine with every device I used before.

But when I plugged it in to charge the Bosch Easypump,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Nothing. Not even a slow charge.Display meter completely off.

Tried another cable on the same charger and device and it works.
