i dont think we should celebrate prematurely, dont forget that we added in daylight savings, leap year etc etc…so something catastrophic might actually happen days, months or even just a few years from now….
Daylight savings cancels itself out (+1 hr -1 hr every year = 0 hrs lost) and if yo account for the days added from leap years since the mayans, it would actually work the other way around, and the world would have ended earlier this year.
If it's good for the next 5,125 years, then it's a bargain at 31c per year. :)

You don't have to believe in the purported prophecy to be interested in Mayan civilisation or archaeology.
