  • OOS?

    • Shows in stock for me

      • Same. in stock.. arrival on Sat 28th

  • Can this fit in overhead lockers on planes?

    • Yes

    • Yep, flew with one a couple of days ago, and have on multiple other occasions. Just need to remove the rear wheels, and all goes in the carry case

      • Is it heavy to put in the overhead lockers and would it mean that you forfeit your carry on luggage if you bring this?

        • It's not too light (6.5kgs) so it depends who you're flying with.

          • @GunnerMcDagget: 6.5kg is as light as it can get. The mountain buggy has a 5.9kg, GB pockit+ 6.0kg, and yoyo 6.2kg as a comparison. I haven't found anything that is lighter than these that can fold up and into the cabin storage.

            • @ChairmanMeow: Yep, but they were asking if they'd have too forfeit carry on. If flying Jetstar or Virgin then there's usually a 7kg limit including the stroller.

        • Not heavy at all, my tiny 5 foot 2 wife can get it in the overhead, although obviously it does take up space. We've found it's always been allowed as part of the infant allowance, so not a big issue in addition to normal carey on although general availability of space is more an issue. With a little one I dont think we've ever not checked something in, so it's usually just baby/toddler essentials that are carried on; everything else is checked

      • We’ve taken the same model (Version 2) on several international and domestic flights, and didn’t need to take the wheels off to get it in the travel bag, and it fit in the overhead lockers fine with the rear wheels on.

Excellent buy. Definitely one of the better travel prams (for context we have the silvercross equivalent and friends have this one).

  • This or bugaboo butterfly?

    • +1

It depends on what you're really looking for. They're both very good compact strollers. City tour folds very flat at 19cm depth and reclines very low to almost flat. Though it doesn't have a carrying strap, so you need to put it into a backpack and take it out when you want to transport it. The seat is pretty narrow too.

Butterfly is heavier, folds up thicker, and doesn't recline that low. It's a very sturdy stroller and feels more premium. It has a carrying strap, so that's a plus.

The price point is also very different. Butterfly currently going for $699.

Butterfly for sure. We've had the butterfly, yoyo and city jogger and we dislike the city jogger the most. While it is the cheapest and maybe best value, it's definitely not the best design.
Few things that come to mind.
Posture for baby is very reclined, when you have weight and want to go up or down stairs it flexes a lot, it's much longer than the other 2.

      • what do you mean up and down stairs with a pram?

I have a butterfly too but potentially might need another travel pram - i recently bought the butterfly skateboard but not sure if it'll cover all bases.

Butterfly posture isn't great, both my kids slouch in it (4 and 1). Are you saying the Baby Jogger is worse?

Per an earlier comment - I can see you have to remove the rear wheels when putting it in the overhead - which can be very annoying.

We bought the V1 of this in July 2018 and it ended up being our main stroller. Lightweight, can carry enough spare things, and is super durable (it's been passed down to its 4th kid now). Highly recommended.
Edit: I just checked and we paid <$300, and posted a deal here for $250 in September 2018. Still a deal at this price

  • How does this pram compare to the YoYo?

  • We have this and love it too. Use it as our main stroller now
