    Booster box is calling me.

Should be able to get $200 worth of pulls at least.

And at least one Golden card and Rainbow card

      Haha

    • I just opened 10 packs with no hits. Hurt me good.

      • Was it TF?

        This has 30 packs

        • Na was the 2 tins from the mydeal offer. OF and TM got burnt

That's false. It's actually pretty hard to get profit in this set for this price.
You can find the rates here: https://infinite.tcgplayer.com/article/Pok%C3%A9mon-TCG-Temp…
As you can see, gold cards are not guaranteed in a booster box (36 packs). Furthermore, rainbow cards do not exist in Scarlet & Violet sets.
Even if you get a gold card or if you could get a rainbow card, neither of those are worth much (around $30 average).
What you look for when opening a box is an SIR. Certain SIRs could make you profit (for example, Raging Bolt EX SIR is $160+.
However, the chance of pulling that specific card is very low. So, if you are buying this, expect to lose money.

      • Interesting. Oposite to what i see in the youtube videos of people opening booster boxes

      • I’m new to this, and the kid seems to enjoy opening the packs. I have a few questions:

What is the difference between the Scarlet & Violet Surging Sparks Booster Box, the 151 Collection, the 6.5 Shrouded Fable Kingambit Illustration Collection, and all the other names?

I recently bought the Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet Surging Sparks Booster Box from the last deal. If the kid wants to collect all the cards, should I only buy the Surging Sparks Booster Boxes?

Pokemon TCG has different sets. Some products come with packs from various sets, while others focus exclusively on 1 set.
Surging Sparks is the most recent set and has a lot of hype surrounding it, making it a bit tricky to find for a reasonable price ($6~ per pack). Whether you are interested in other sets or not, that's up to you. Here is a list of sets: https://www.tcgplayer.com/categories/trading-and-collectible…. If you click on each, it will show you the valuable cards and some products that contain packs exclusively from that set. Then you can find retailers in Australia that sells them. For example, Amazon, BigW, Kmart, Target, etc. Of course, make sure you buy from a reputable source and be extremelly careful of scammers (plenty in FB).

  • Paldea chest is now OOS

not really any good deals on a per pack price, temporal forces is not that sought after and cheaper to just buy specific cards if you're chasing.

  • Temporal forces etb looks good for $63

  • Combined Powers has gone much lower, that's a lame discount.
