Hi all,
As per title I’ve got some expiring miles and have absolutely no idea what to do with them as I’m not travelling anywhere and they are not really worth that much I think.
Any ideas?

I keep my AA miles alive by doing surveys with one of the survey companies, which you can then redeem for AA points.
With 10K American Airlines you can sell them for a motza. Seriously have you looked up the AA web site to see what you can get with them as a starting point?
You can use AA Miles to Book Hotels.

10.0 isn't much.
What about 10.000?
10.000 American Airlines…
I thought there was only one!
I ignore superfluous decimal points
The last time this happened to me, I purchased an american friend a magazine subscription with the points.
AA allow free cancellation of award flights.
Book a cheap US domestic award ticket. Cancel it. That will extend the expiry of your miles. You will get your taxes and miles refunded.
It's actually more valuable than you might think if you can think of somewhere to go next year.
10,000 American Airlines miles is enough for a Qantas domestic Economy one-way redemption anywhere within Australia. Distance doesn't matter as it's priced by region, and all of Australia is considered one region.
Sydney to Melbourne: 10,000 miles + taxes (about US$22)
Perth to Gold Coast via Melbourne: Also 10,000 miles + taxes (about US$35)
