DragonFly Shipping Has to Be The Most Useless Company in Existence

How a company like Amazon can associate themselves with a company like DragonFly is mind boggling. DragonFly has 1.2 stars on Google review and 1.4 stars on productreview.com.au. They are the most useless company I have ever dealt with. I get quicker on time delivery in Bali.

We're a business with rear access, its written all in our delivery notes. We have a big sign out the front that says to enter via rear. In their missed delivery photo, they literally take a photo of our window that has big stickers on it to say to enter via rear.

Anyone else have horror stories with them?

EDIT:

Was in a rush when I posted this.

Here is a photo Dragonfly has supplied to us that they couldn't deliver. Literally in the photo it shows they where to enter

This is the photo they supplied me yesterday, not even my building.

Not to mention their countless lies on promise of redelivery on same day and call back from managers.

Yeah I cringe everytime I see my Amazon order is to be delivered by dragonfly. Why bother having delivery instructions when they ignore it anyway

  • Yeah, they have got to be the worst we've dealt with. We are normally quite careful with deliveries to our house but if I see it's DragonFly I basically have to wait around and make sure to receive the delivery. They've taken a photo of an Amazon delivery sitting on the ground next to our mailbox. We live on a busy main road we're not the first house on the lot so it's really not a good idea to just leave stuff out there.

They seem pretty good up here (QLD) most parcels delivered on time, sometimes a day or so later but no biggy.

  • It's luck of the draw with these "drive yourself" services.

I've watched delivery drivers struggle with common gate latches. There's also a fair amount of variation in care taken with packages.

    • These are overseas student graduates with engineering degrees LOL

  • How a company like Amazon can associate themselves with a company like DragonFly

It is mind boggling since Amazon is known for their great service and not cutting costs

  • We call them Tsetse Fly. It seems more apt.

I have good experience with them in Brisbane

I've only had good experiences with them (Brisbane).

  • Do they give Aramex a good name?

That sounds like a human person's error, rather than labelling the entire company. Every courier has 1-star reviews because people are more vocal when things go wrong, and they do often in complex logistics.

Dragonfly are by far one of the best couriers in my experience. Always on-time, deliver early before heading to work and great clarity of photos when packages are left. YMMV depending on your local delivery person.

    • Defiantly human error but it fails from the top. The call centre constantly lies and promises of call back, same day redelivery.

  • And here I am loving Dragonfly. Never had a problem with them. Guess I'm just getting lucky……..well at least something of mine is.

  • Dragonfly has been very good for me. Northern Brisbane area.

  • Australia Post is worse. The worst.
