PS4 and Headphones

I have Bose QC45SE, and I want to play a game without disturbing others around. Do I have to buy a new headset?

I already paid a lot of money for the Bose.

I use the same headsets but with my PS5 controller. Works great. You casn use the same headsets for gaming as well.

    There is a TTRS 3.5mm in the bottom of the controller. Same thing with the PS4. Doesn’t work with old school iPhone earbuds though.

  It can be patchy on occasion but I find it to be pretty rare. Certainly the convenience of plug and play vs Bluetooth pairing means I use the 3.5mm!

    PS4 doesn't have Bluetooth audio so you have to plug into the controller. It works fine. I've gamed 100s of hours over the years with headphones on the PS4. If you're worried about quality then plug into your AV receiver directly if you're using one. Otherwise you're kinda out of options.

      I ended up buying a wireless headset from jbhifi, with a usb 2ghz connection. they have one on special for $99. It works a treat.
