    May not be specifically for a case. I'm using one to cool a NIC and HBA card. Also currently thinking of attaching a couple to the rear mesh of my Fractal R5 to help create negative pressure behind the HDD cages and see if it'll help airflow across the drives.

  I used to use Noctua for everything. Now, I just use the fans that came with my Fractal North and I frankly can't tell any difference.

    I can believe that the cheapest fans are worse, but I struggle to believe that the most premium fans are worth such a large increase in price

      Depends on the application. Some fan will emits noise only at certain frequency/rpm range, so if the application is noise sensitive better do research first

    40mm fan will hardly be quiet unless you spin it at very low RPM which will give you a poor CFM. That switch better be low performance

  Just spent an hour arguing with Amazon. The promo has been incorrectly setup by them and according to them, should not have been displayed on the product page as the product is not technically in the list of eligible items. It would state I was eligible - '2 of 2 items in cart - voucher applied at checkout' but then at checkout no discount was applied. They eventually gave me a credit for bringing this to their attention.
