The ORICO J10 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD is not suitable for the PS5, as the PS5 requires an M.2 SSD with PCIe 4.0 or later support for storage expansion. Here are the PS5's SSD requirements:
PS5 M.2 SSD Requirements:
Interface: PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 NVMe SSD.
Capacity: 250GB – 4TB.
Sequential Read Speed: At least 5,500 MB/s.
Form Factor: 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, or 22110.
Heatsink: Required, either pre-installed or user-added.
The ORICO J10 is a PCIe 3.0 SSD, which does not meet the speed and interface requirements for the PS5, as it is slower than the necessary PCIe 4.0 standard. Using a PCIe 3.0 SSD in a PS5 will result in performance bottlenecks and may not even be compatible.
