At $249, it's not really a bargain. Or is it? Given "this exclusive collector's item will be offered in limited quantities" might it ever be cheaper from a retailer? The page linked is worth a look for the Casio origin story at least — I learnt something today.

Interesting product worth considering, or shameless cash grab?

      Oh I wasn't up with that.
      Was thinking more Casio's 50th, and this being a limited-edition souvenir of sorts.

      Honda did similar things with their cars and bikes to mark significant anniversaries. S2000, CRX etc.

        I guess we’ll know how popular it is if it gets sold out within seconds by scalpers and bots , like the Casio manga gshock aus release. I refuse to support scalper market bullshittery. I’d rather buy a replica.

    I just wanted thier video promo… it's looks like you can do almost anything with a casio ring watch. (I mean, whilst wearing one.) As for functionaility, I think he glanced at it once - so you might be able to tell the time with it.

    I don't know how I've managed to get by without one.

    13/1/25, why would you do that? could have sold a truck load if launched 13/12, or even just pre-orders.
