eufy Clean L60 SES with Auto Empty Station $479 (+ Delivery/ $0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi/The Good Guys

40

Seems like a pretty solid deal for a robot vacuum with an auto empty station, plus it has a blade to cut hair that's tangled in the brush. I've been considering getting this to replace my Lubluelu SL60D, because the bags that fit the empty station I have don't have generic ones on AliExpress yet.

Also available at The Good Guys for the same price.

The hair cutting blade doesn't work as well as they promote it IME. Still have to get in there manually to cut longer hairs that tangle around the roller.

Also, it doesn't stay docked properly - in that it the spring-based charging contacts don't seem to have enough pressure on them a lot of the time to stay 'On' and often will go to use the vacuum to find its flat. It dies after around 36hours of no use from memory.

When it works its good though. Haven't used the mop as it's just a static mop pad, rather than an actual rotating solution - i think the next model up would be a better option (x10 from memory) but that's a good price so might be worth it.

  • I bought this model for ~$500 a few months ago. For a Lidar model and with a self-emptying station, it's good value for money in my opinion. I'm surprised at how much less dust my place collects now that I run this guy once a week. Haven't tried the mop function so I can't comment on that (I have mostly carpets).

  • We have this one and run it every work day. Works great, the house stays clean it grabs all the cat hair (and my wife's) and the cutting does work pretty well. My biggest issue is that it seems to get off on touch rather than visual learning.. just smashes itself all the way up our hallway. Apparently it's only meant to do it to dark objects but before the back got to it, our skirting boards were white… Whatever good product.
