Powerful device for the price with long battery life and good reviews. $70 extra for double the storage and 4GB of RAM.
Thinking of jumping back from Tim Apples walled garden in the new year. Is there any major software feature gaps between this and the pixel phones? I know Pixels probably lean more into Gemini than other phones, but I don't really care about that.
Any other mid-range contenders to consider? I'd love something with a physical fingerprint reader, but that seems to be increasingly rare these days.
Any issues with service providers!? After the 3G shut down lots of IMEI not whitelisted
Why no snapdragon modem? No good for people living outside of latte land.
a) that would make it significantly more expensive.
b) SD aren't the only good chips out there.

Went with the Nokia G22 as it was an affordable phone and user repairable, should be more of that on offer!

So far it's been no less capable than my Pixel 7pro, which is going in for repair as the battery is swollen and the screen started to lift off, not even 2yrs of trouble free service!
