PlayStation Plus Subscription

Hey guys, my PS Plus subscription just expired and I wasn't in the mood to pay $170 for an annual renewal.

Any thoughts on if we can expect any offers or discounts anytime soon? Maybe Boxing Day?

    I don't recall any sale (but I could have missed it). The only one I recall was only offering discounts on upgrading existing subs.

  Best thing to do is get some 10% off PlayStation cards. You can get this sometimes by itself or with buying them with tcn or ultimate cards at eb games. That's what I have done for other cards. If there is a boxing day deal that's even better but if not at least you get 10% off.

  Words for alert is PlayStation plus, ps plus, tcn, gift card, ultimate ect

    The certainly don't deserve any subscribers at that price. However, I have taken a different approach and don't actually buy any games anymore, so I 'rely' on the game catalogue and monthly games.

      Thats a bit unfortunate. I get not buying at launch price but you should buy discs on sale so you can use them in the future without a subscription.

        I do still do this but only where 'needed' such as the older FIFA games.

            @HaydosK: No I mean that's the only type of scenario where I would buy a game disc - where the game itself would no longer be available.
