Honestly amazing game, in some aspects better than Killing Floor 2, and still a lot of Australian servers (15+ Sydney servers, 20+ Perth servers). Would be fun to see some of you on there! A true classic from 2009, and with killing floor 3 coming out in March, this will be fun to play before then!
What makes it better than 2? 1 was awesome back in the day.
The nostalgia, but also the maps are better in my opinion, and it's less about being the highest level possible with OP zed time effects and being able to loop every map, it's just simpler and a bit nicer to play, but I do love KF2 a lot but I also love KF1 for other reasons, I can't wait for KF3!

Don’t let the name fool you, Jimmy. It’s not really a floor. It’s more of steel grating that allows material to sluice through so it can be collected and exported!
I have about 5000 hours in KF1, was quite a social game to play. KF1 was a little more skill, or maybe tactics based, and even a low level player with good strats, or a good team, could have a successful run. In KF2 they gradually removed a lot of that and made it about firepower, leaving a game that looked great, but always felt a bit hollow to me.
Damn I'd love you to come back and play kf1 with me!
