Back to its all time low price, this park ranger game is more than just keeping an eye for fires as a deeper mystery hides within the beautiful scenery of the area.

Absolutely love this game and plan on doing a third play through soon.
Possibly one of the best singleplayer games I've played in a while. 100% recommend, especially at this price. Performs great on the SD
This is a fantastic game, well worth that money. One of my favourite indie titles. Good story, beautiful art.
I have a suggestion: showing your position on the map is on by default, but you can turn it off. I suggest you turn it off, because they give you a compass and stuff which makes it more realistic and immersive but still easy enough to locate yourself.
Amazing game.
Incredible experience. One of the games that I wish I could play for the first time again.
Super enjoyable and a great story, beautiful atmosphere.
Fantastic price. Thanks OP.
$4.49 on PS Store too if you prefer on console which matches previous low price. Would have prefered to get it on switch but its not on sale and the previous low is still double the price.
This game was great!
I tried this game at the insistence of my teenager. I found it boring. Near real time to get anywhere? no thanks.
I'm sorry your dopamine receptors are fried :( back to tiktok for you, zoomer!
It's interesting how people neg when there's an opinion they don't agree with
… that's the point of negging?
I wasn't saying it's wrong to neg, but more that it sometimes seems like people just neg without really considering the value of a differing opinion or offering a constructive reason. It often seems like the goal is to silence the other side, rather than engaging with it or even considering an alternative viewpoint. @roughana is totally in their right to share their opinion and they shouldn't have to face consequences just because they're speaking against the general consensus.
People might say "it's not that deep it's just negs" but that's deflection and indeed no one likes getting negged especially when they're just expressing their experience with something they didn't enjoy.
I absolutely love this game and recommend it to everyone but I would totally understand if someone didn't enjoy it because of any reason. They don't have to justify it - they just didn't like it.
It’s similar to how companies get negative reviews removed on google. If we automatically downvote mindlessly when we see something we don't agree with, without consideration, we’re essentially doing the same thing and shutting down the conversation rather than encouraging a more thoughtful exchange. For example I could respond to the original comment with something like "the trekking and journeying is one of the main parts of the game makes you much more immersed in the dude's role" to share the side of why people enjoyed that from the other perspective, instead of what @aids replied with by insulting someone for sharing their experience.
i got like 10 negs for saying KFC chicken pieces suck lol, thats ozbargain for ya
Only 10 negs for that? Truly an OzBargain. I would expect 100+
Great game. Disappointing ending…
Agree thought it was leading to something better
I felt the same. I remember pre-launch they set the game up as a mystery-thriller based upon the trailers. So yeah… not even close to that lol.
I liked the ending. It had its own unexpectedness about it, but in a way that brought it back down to earth and fitted the overall feel of the game.
Well worth $2.95
For $2.95 this game well deserves your energy and time that it takes to bring you this unforgettable journey and memory.
I am vouching for this one if anyone still hesitating.
Time to finally buy this - I pirated this when I was a kid and loved it.
awesome game, the story and voice acting are superb - pulls you in.
Another recommendation to add to the above from me, top tier storytelling.
If you have a VR setup, consider also grabbing the excellent and free Two Forks VR mod by Raicupatra, which adds up to room scale tracking (you can also play standing or seated), full head tracking and motion controls, and a number of comfort options to suit your personal movement tolerance in VR. The sense of scale and presence that VR adds to the experience is next level.
A++ game, well worth the cost of admission.
Good game. Thank you.
First time I played this I was disappointed by the ending because I had certain expectations of what the game would be based on trailers etc and it turned out to not be that. But after letting the story sit with me for a while, I just couldn't stop thinking about it. And the more I thought about it the more I realised just how good the story was.
I've since played it a few more times and the ending is actually really good for the story that is told. The graphics are beautiful, and the characters are interesting. Its really well crafted.
But it won't be a game for everyone. Its very narrative/character driven, and the choices you make don't really have an effect on the ending, although they do let you learn more about the characters. So keep that in mind.
But otherwise its an amazing game, definitely worth buying at full price, so I would definitely recommend snagging it at this price if you don't already own it.
Not the typical genre that I play, but this was a really captivating game.
Anyone know of anything similar that is worth checking out?Another Walking Simulator: South of the Circle, $8.39 on GOG, sale ends in 4 hrs
was given out for free around a year ago though so it might be worth waiting if the itch isn't that hard xd
Soundtrack and story is top tier
Still waiting patiently for In the Valley of Gods with the TBD release date 😢😢😢
