I'm starting a web marketing company and use about 6 different email addresses. It is a pain to use webmail on the ipad, so I am looking for a small laptop or a netbook for the sole purpose of using outlook and carrying it around.
Can you suggest the most powerful machine (small and thin) I can get for around $200 - $400. I was hoping that the holiday season is a good time to grab one.

It's actually the pain to type and navigate on the ipadeven with an external keyboard. Outlook would be very easy to use since i reply to over 30 emails each day.
You could just get a bluetooth keyboard for the iPad as it seems not the 6 accounts that are a pain but the onscreen keyboard.
But if you're intent on a small laptop HP has some small notebooks (11.6" screen 1366x768 resolution). I got one last year for $320.
Yeah navigation and clicking etc are all too slow on the ipad even with a keyboard so ive decided to use outlook. How is ur netbook mate? Does is withstand a professional version of office2010 ok?
Cheers mate, this is windows 8 but slightly pricey.
when you say webmail, you mean the online version offered by you email provider, like hotmail style for example, right?
just wondering, why wouldn't you configure the 6 email accounts as POP3/IMAP on the iPad?
if you say 'webmail' as being ipad's mail app, then disregard the above.
