'tis the season to be Arthur
Matching JB Hi-Fi if you prefer, also part of the 2 for $30 deal.
But Red Dead Redemption 2, that is not a game
It's an incredible journey through old American historyReckon require to play prior games in the series prior to this?
No, RDR2 is a prequel story-wise to RDR1.
We don't talk about Red Dead Revolver.
Thanks
Grabbed a copyWe don't talk about Red Dead Revolver
Funny I have this disc in my ps2 collection
Nope. Can just play this
Thanks
No, but you'll miss out on a lot of aha! moments, added context and filling in the story. If you're very story-focused. Else fine as a standalone game.
If you wanna experience the same release order then, yeah. Not a must tho.
If I had to choose what the greatest game ever made is, it probably would be this
Fightin for your life and fightin for your family
Tryin to live your life with honour and integrity
One game I enjoyed playing but would never play again. It's such a long game.
I've always wanted to do a low-honour run given I was purely a goody good shoes the first time I played, but I can't bring myself to do it 😆
I tried to be good as well but then I accidentally shot someone and there was no going back :D
how I wish they'd re-release this on PS5
But then it won't be $19
Probably $119
I daresay it'll get a PS5 port soon.
Hell, judging by the way Rockstar have treated GTA 5, you could probably bet on a PS6 port.
I really tried to get into this, gave it 3 different cracks across the years. Just found it so boring. The scenery was amazing, though.
Scenary isn't that great as it's not a high resolution, and 30fps.
Uncharted 4 is better for scenery
Beg to differ. Uncharted 4 was great but RDR2 is next level with lighting and detail. Plus RDR2 is open world, which imposes more technical challenges which makes the game even more impressive.
You don't like being forced to walk through towns? 🤢
Agreed. This and Witcher 3. I tried so hard to like both games but I just couldn't get into them.
Same.. I bought it few weeks after it was released. The game was not bad but it just wasnt for me (go bored). So I finished the main storyline as soon as I could and then sold the physical copy of the game.
If you have no friends to play poker with, you can play poker in this game.
This game runs at 30fps on PS5. It also has insane input delay when shooting.
Will it work on the Ps5?
No, smoke will come out of your PS5.
Only kidding, but have a look at the comment above your comment.
Epic game. Story, gameplay, visuals, open world, characters - everything is brilliant.
4K native and stunning on the Xbox version, if you have the choice. Still stuck at 30fps though, criminal that Rockstar game left it in this state.
Game was a real experience for me, loved it and will do another playthrough in the future.
Literally:
that's a good BOIYH
what're we doin' DUTCH
we just need ONE more scoreThe game.
It's good though.
LENNY!!!
Spend a bit extra and buy it on PC its worth it for the uncapped frame rate.
Finished it on the PC. Gazillions hours spent methinks. Now mulling getting this to play when lounging around.
absolutely one of the greatest story games I have ever played, definitely in my top 10 of all time. And considering I dont even like western/cowboy themes, at all, should say a lot.
Stands tall next to, if not above the Mass Effect trilogy, uncharted, tomb raider, the last of us and Cyberpunk 2077 (post Phantom liberty update) imo.
worth 10x the price.Wow That much praise!
Would it come close to the bigger Zelda games or Final Fantasy games in terms polish? (With this being a western developed game) or the GOW/ TLOU?
Equals or surpasses them, with the possible subjective exception of TLOU (masterpiece).
That’s a lot of game for $19.
