Just a light hearted thread…
Though I got a few things for free using the various $10 codes posted, all of which came with ridiculous packaging, I only thought to take a photo of the latest one.
You'd think they would try save some money on packaging a bit more efficiently, seeing as we paid $0.00 for the item + post.
Anyone else got any examples?
Pity I didn't photograph the 30x30x15cm box a pencil sized mascara thingie the wife ordered came in
I didn't find it excessive just a white box with two foam squares to protect the item.
I bought cufflinks from there with one of the $10 off codes once and the packaging was much more excessive than that. Came in a big box with the tiny cufflink box inside! :)
Same experience here… Massive, heavy duty envelope… Iddy biddy camera battery inside. Still can't complain too much… got me a very cheap camera battery :)
I also used a $10 off code and bought an eyelash curler for free. It was delivered in a massive box filled with packing peanuts, even though the item isn't fragile.
lightweight (recyclable) paper (?) packaging. Look OK to me. But I've only seen the photo…..
