First time iPhone user.
Have both physical sim and e-sim in my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I am porting e-sim from Boost to Kogan next week. Never done it before so not sure how to do it without messing it up.
I thought logically I can simply add the Kogan esim (since iPhone can have multiple esims) and run the porting process. Once Kogan esim is active and Boost esim inactive, I simply delete Boost esim on iPhone.
Not sure if above is correct. Can anyone give me tips?
Last time I did the process, I didn't need to add my new eSIM until the porting was completed, then you'd wait until they let you know its done and then you add the new eSIM. You'll lose connection on your Boost SIM as they port your number across.
It's during the activation of your Kogan SIM/account is where you opt in to port your old number, and that's when the rubber hits the road.
