    Some locations now have a "Super Saver" deal for weekday parking, need to book 48 hours in advance though. Some Melbourne Locations have $10 parking all day (e.g. 180 Russell)

    Be mindful, that in the app it also mentions that prepaying doesn't guarantee availability in the carpark. If you cant find a spot, you need to reach out to them via intercom and they will help you find one in a nearby parking location

    Help !! Has anyone having idea where I can park in Mel cbd for cheap/free. Coming to Mel for 7 days and staying in CBD but no parking is provided by the Airbnb.

          If you're here over between Christmas and mid-jan it'll be dead around Lonsdale because it's usually full with court, cops and legal people/traffic.

          I used to park up there because it's cheaper than around Elizabeth, Bourke or Collins.

          Docklands is probably a bit far but during that time it'll be quiet-ish because that's usually corporate.

          If you can, see if you can book a carpark for a week near your place so you can come and go as you please (monthly is 4-500). You'll get street parking for 2 hours around there but meters aren't cheap.

          Sorry I can't help more but I don't know if your leaving the car completely for seven days, will be in it most of the day or in and out when it suits you.

          Paystay is a good parking app in the CBD and surrounds instead of meters.

            @Big L: thanks for this - i'll be in melb early Jan staying around Parliament House. Does the same apply? Mainly need overnight parking. When I mapped Lonsdale, Lonsdale St pops up - is that the one youre referring to because Lonsdale st and Nicholson St would be perfect? And youre saying there's plentiful street spots?

              @cheap4321: You're at the other end of town. The streets behind parliament house should have plenty of parking except when there's cricket on. Overnight parking should be even easier, if you plan to be out by around 8am.

    Is roads closed on 30th Dec at Sydney CBD ? Visiting CBD on 30th and so that we can make use of this parking deal at Sydney Opera House
