The Sydney Flames host the Adelaide Lightning this Sunday afternoon at Quaycentre which is located in Sydney Olympic Park (near car park P3).

The Flames are currently 3rd on the WNBL Ladder and have won their last 3 games including an impressive victory over Geelong in Geelong last Saturday. The Flames are looking to lock in their 3rd place on the ladder so need as much support as possible this Sunday.

Players to watch include Cayla George who recently scored her 5,000th WNBL point, just the 4th player to ever do this,. Shaneice Swain who has been on fire from beyond the arc and Tahlia Tupaea, a NSW junior who could return to the Flames this Sunday

  1. normal price for the tickets they're giving out are only $8
  2. there's a reason they can't even get rid of the tickets for $8. Having to watch women's basketball in Australia is not exactly a 'bargain' even if the tickets are free

  but it's still free, so it balances out to a neutral vote

  Some people comment negatively every time these free tickets comes up. Australia just got bronze in Paris Olympics and have consistently been ranked 3rd in the world. There will be two of the Paris olympians in this game and you can see from the past free event on the link below that people enjoyed it. Sure it's not for everyone but nothing is.
