  • This is a very hard to find model these days. Have Citizen stopped making them?

Yeah I know, I own one. It was on sale for $299 in 2021.

        • Great pickup, damn inflation haha
Good that it's eco-drive, not many similar offerings as you say, mostly entry level autos, Fugu then a big jump in price for a the Fujitsubo.

        • Damn, Inflation or just plain greed I wonder.

          • @zxcvb: No doubt RRP have almost doubled but can usually get 40% off with Seiko and citizen.

Thanks! I'll pop into the store tomorrow and have a look.

  • I had a look at it in-store this morning, great looking watch. It’s super lightweight so if, like me, you prefer less bulk this will appeal. If you like the feel of a chunky watch, though, this won’t be your jam. Something that isn’t stated in the specs above is it’s only 12mm thick, so will sit a bit flatter on the wrist. That’s a good thing, as the lug-to-lug is on the long side so it’s going to take up some real estate on your wrist. The dial, hands, and indexes are fairly generic however they’re nicely legible. I didn’t have a chance to test lume so no idea what that’s like. The bracelet felt a tad stiff but still seemed substantial, at least it’s not loose and jangly like some Ti bracelets can be. It should free up a bit with regular use.

Watson’s still have plenty of stock as of today.
