An R8 even. With a 12V “engine” instead of the usual 8 or 10 cylinders ;)

Thanks OP, grabbed one for my granddaughter. Let's hope it lasts longer than Xmas day :) .
Does it come with roadside assistance and 7 year unlimited kms warranty?

  • Damn, might be abit bigger then the 110cm limit

    • Had too many quarter pounders?

  • +8

Can I get this on a novated lease?

    • FBT exemption should apply too

  • I recommend getting eco tyres for the rear if you want to drift

  • Got one thanks OP!! Make sure you add the right coupon code I added wrong one only got $6 off :((

  • what would be the cut off age whereby it becomes landfill? Says 7 but that seems doubtful.

  • +1

Had me at “Red Audi R8” and $109.65.

  • Battery 12v

Hook a giant solar panel up to it - boom - green energy

  • Will probably have a 12v 4.5aH battery. Tip: once the battery is due for replacement (1-2yrs), replace it with a 12v 7aH. Holds so much more charge and you wont have to charge it every 10min of ride

    Edit : comes with 2 x 6v I see.

  • Thanks op- this seems like it’d be fun for the toddler

    • Yes, mine is already shipped. Arriving a day before Christmas Day.

  • Does this have V2L?

  • +3

which one of you (profanity) bought the last one i was just pressing pay god damnit

  • I wonder if this qualifies for the "Vehicle Parts and Accessories" category on shopback to achieve the highest level of return

    • No it doesn’t

Fyi: these do not last 2hrs of driving time. Not even 1hr.
i had a ride on for my twins, with 2x 7ah 12v batteries and after long drives to the playground (2km return) they died due to over discharge

I would have thought 1hr for a toddler driving in this is quite a long time

      • but at 1hr, you've over discharged the battery.
also, you can only really use them in winter as summer it's too hot

my kids have been driving themselves since they were 3yo.
but.. their ride on doesnt get used much these days as theyre 5yo and its super slow with their weight

        • Check if the ride on you got is 6v and single motor. You can upgrade the wiring harness and motor to 24v along with 2x24v motors and it should be able to carry weight up to 30kg.

          • @Batman110: it is 12v.
            i could upgrade to 24v
            but

the kids are each 20kg, so .. it's bicycle time.

i did swap its lead batteries with the itechworld lifepo 12v 7ah ones. that helped greatly

finally a EV and by AUDI I can afford, BUT OSS 😭

Federal Climate Minister Chris Bowen should cruise around Canberra in one of these.

  • What's the depreciation with these? Also ongoing maintenance costs?

    Hard pass

  • You can buy a power transformer for around $25 that can plug onto any common powertool 18v battery and puts out 12 volts. Would be a good idea on these where the battery seems to be the weakest link over time. I've got 12Ah Milwaukee batteries, that should keep it running for a while between charges.

    • I already have purchased an ozito adaptor and a 18v to 12v converter so I can use the ozito batteries.

  • Other items for sale as well like this Lambo for $98.77: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/143408558482

    Has a 6V 4.5ah battery though

    • $225 postage to me on that. Yikes

    • It’s 6v. Not worth it

  • I need to get from sydney to Melbourne next week for christmas. Will the charge last long enough?
