Google Pixel Tablets - JB Hi-Fi Orders for Christmas Present

Hi folks, I ordered two Hazel Pixel tablets from JB on 2nd December.

I have been keeping my eye on the order, and it's still stuck on "Confirmed." I called my local store and got onto a very helpful bloke in fulfilment. He notified me that from what he can tell, there are still over a hundred orders of the Hazel to be shipped, and there are only three in stock in the country, with no date the orders will be fulfilled.

If you were ordering these for Christmas, you might want to consider cancelling your order.

  • We are in EXACTLY the same situation as you! Ordered on the 2nd of Dec with the estimated delivery date as today. I can't even see it on their website anymore, I guess it's good it's only my pressie from my partner, but still disappointing there's been no further communication.

      • I can't go changing colours now as I've already orders and received the dock separately. I guess I'll try and be patient lol

        • Ahh bugger. I'm in the queue on the live chat as well (already an hour), I'll see what they say about fulfillment.

  • I ordered one of these in black during the November sale
    My order was still unshipped as of mid last week, and the JB chat was unsure if/when it would be fulfilled.

    I asked the chat to change my order to white tablet which showed heaps of stock loca, give me the original discount pricing, and collect from the local store which had stock, cancel my black tablet order.

    They did this in a couple of minutes and collected it by lunch

    I was happy to settle for the white colour, kids won’t care

    • Yeah i've changed over to the white, the bloke was going to get them into the store for me hopefully by the end of the week.

    Online chat

    Unfortunately, this item is currently on back order. We can see that our warehouse is waiting on the shipment. Howvever, we have not yet received an update on the arrival.

    We have emailed our Operations Team to chase up a revised ETA. As we receive further updates from our supplier we will be in touch with all affected customers via email.

    If this is inconvenient for you or you wouldn't like to wait for this, please advise and I will action a cancellation/refund on your order for you

  • @lahnah did your tablets ship today? I got a message from JB that my white ones I changed over to had arrived in store for pickup. Then about and hour later, got a message saying the hazel ones had shipped.
