Hi all, Looking to change from a Samsung FE 5G to a Pixel. Unfortunately, my FE's charging port started to play up, and it's time to upgrade to a phone with E-Sim.
I do occasional simple gaming, mainly needing photos on the go.
Without going all to Pixel 9, which generation of Pixel 8 do you think will give the best VFM? Hoping to spot a bargain around.

Why? They are random clicks, nobody knows what "VFM" is (the point of my first post)!
If I had to guess, given the website we are on, it's something like "Value for Money"
The Pixel 8 Pro has recently been on "run out" sales, I picked up a P8Pro 256GB for $920 from Amazon UK (and it works fine in AU).
You will find all the other models (6, 6P, 6a, 7, 7P, 7a) are some kind of "Refurb" (and I am guessing that now also includes 8, 8P and soon 8a)!
Why not the pixel 5?
