This is the cheapest price it has been sold on Steam according to SteamDB. While not as highly acclaimed as the original trilogy, I thought it was a decent game and keeps you fairly entertained for many hours for just $5.
The Deluxe Edition contains the following over the base game:
Deep Space Explorer Armor. Looking for armor that can stand up to anything a brand new galaxy can dish out? With the Deluxe Edition, you'll get to gear up with Deep Space Explorer Armor.
Nomad Skin (3). Make sure your Nomad really stands out while you're exploring mysterious new planets with this unique skin.
Multiplayer Booster Pack. Jump-start your multiplayer co-op play with a booster pack. Includes five 50% XP Boosters (entitled instantly, limit 1 per match).
Pathfinder Casual Outfit (2). Nobody wants to wear their uniform 24/7. Whether you're relaxing aboard the Tempest or exploring a friendly space dock, this casual outfit will help you look your best.
Scavenger Armor. Stand out from the crowd, even when you're planetside on a deadly new world.
Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set (4). Ditch the standard gear and go Elite. Battle your way through Andromeda with this unique set of weapons.
Pet Pyjak. Everyone’s favorite space monkey is back and can join you aboard the Tempest.
Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack. Get a head start on co-op play with the Multiplayer Launch Pack, which includes items to kick start your progress (entitled instantly).
This is an alright game if you are a massive fan of the previous 3.
It lacks a lot of the charm of the main trilogy, though, and I found many of the characters & NPCs to be as flat as cardboard lore-wise.
The combat is personal preference though. I prefer the combat in Andromeda since there's a lot more traversal on open terrain to approach situations as you like. However, Mass Effect has always been about story first and combat after. So overall, it fell flat for me.
Probably worth $4.99 though - so you can see if you like it for yourself.
BioWare needs to re-capture the magic of the third game (which, to this day, still has an online player base) and explore more of the galaxy that they were in. It was way too soon to jump ship from the Milky Way Galaxy and I feel like there was heaps to explore, even after the seemingly complete story that ME3 ended on, depending on your choices.
