Is it just me or is there no phone number to call Amazon?
I have an order that "got lost", I went through the support options, the only one that fit ended up asking me to post the items back.
Obviously I can't because they never came. I searched everywhere for a phone number before choosing that option out of desperation.
I found a 1800 number online that is not connected….

Scroll down the bottom until you see 'help', click on that , then 'something else', 'contact us' , 'request a phone call'. (Or 'start chatting now' to use chat.)

It's part of the Amazon business model to make it very, very hard to find support. And no phone number.
You can speak to them on the phone but you have to initiate it through the customer support page on their website and they will call you on the spot

Was the 1800 number you called 1800 571 894? Because I called this number a few weeks ago when I was locked out of my account and therefore had no option to request a call back or chat, and was able to get a customer representative right away.
