Energy drinks and hi-vis workers. Name a more iconic duo.

      • Have they moved on from the Big M ?

        • +4

I think those are ordered by the pallet for construction crews/tradies/day labourers and issued in bulk to their new employees as part of their onboarding.

Monster should really start making energy drink bandoliers that manual labourers can strap to themselves for easy access to their medicine at all times.

They were doing this in Pitt St mall (Syd) near the food court entrance as well.

    • They were there all last week, had plenty of stock each time I walked past as well.

Think they’re done with Pitt St now though, couldn’t see them today.

      • Got one on the way into the food court, another one on the way out.

        • Today? Or last week?

          • @Bigboy97: Last week. Well and truly gone now.

  • XEC, KP.3, JN.1 the likely variants…..

Saving a few dollars on a sickly sweet beverage. Well yes, that sounds like something worth queuing for.

    • The silver and green can on the left is sugar free.

You won't get the immediate kick from the sugar, but you still get the caffeine.

Cool. can get the sickly sweetness from acesulfame potassium and sucralose instead!

        Acesulfame potassium
Also known as Ace-K, this sweetener is 200 times sweeter than sugar and is often blended with other sweeteners like sucralose to mask its slightly bitter aftertaste. It's stable at high temperatures and can be used in baked goods and other foods with a long shelf life.

        Sounds great!

People wasting away their precious time, queueing up for a tepid can of chemicals lovingly dumped on top of footpath chewing gum and ciggy butts - and all to save a princely total of $2.50 - really need to question their life choices

Well, you are spending your precious youth , sharing your opinion online here 😁

        • +2

For real, guy has almost five thousand comments talks about wasting time.

      • +1

I mean youve sold me, booking a flight to Sydney now if its as good as you say!

      • +1

This gives many people a purpose in life.

      • One should not give advice on how to use their time if they have almost 5,000 comments. It is hypocritical.

  • still there according to my colleagues

  • Are they cold?

    • They're resting on a tile floor.. Id say so.

  • The need to bring the old green V. No idea why they changed the recipe. The new flavour is inferior but does create some impressive burps. Missus hates it.

Not sure if missus hates the recipe, or the impressive burps?

They’re also giving them out currently at the Melbourne Central station main entrance

this stuff gives you a energy boost from all the sugar and additives thats inside of it but many people fall sick from it due to excess consumption, i believe there have been a few deaths
